Web App Latest Updates and New Features

SimpliScada Web App – Release Notes

At SimpliScada, we continuously strive to improve the SCADA experience. Below are the latest updates to the SimpliScada Web App.

April 21, 2026

Stepper Button Object Update
  1. Interval value in object configuration can now be set down to 0.1
  2. Previously lowest allowed value started at 1


Reset Button Object Update
  1. Updated the reset button functionality to highlight the object with an exclamation indicator if the reset button fails to reset after waiting 3x the reset duration
  2. Added a Reset Failed pop-up to the reset button for manual recovery



Copy & Paste Update
  1. Added "Paste with configuration" or "Paste without configuration" on right-click when copy/pasting objects in Canvas Editor
  2. Paste with configuration will keep linked tag and other settings from the properties panel when copying the object across different sites or dashboards. *copy/paste between Site and Dashboard is unable to keep tag configuration due to dashboards requiring a Site Assignment.


Alert Threshold Set Value Update
  1. "Set Value" pop-up for Alert Threshold now displays the current formatted value.
  2. Previously the "current value" displayed the raw value, this created confusion when inputting a new Set Point value that contained formatting.

Alert Threshold Conditions
Enhancements to Alert Thresholds (Low-Low, Low, High, High-High) now include:

  • Time Delay – Delays alert generation until the condition remains out of bounds for a specified duration.
  • Compare to Another Tag – Validates a secondary tag condition before triggering an alert.
    • Example: High pressure alert checks pump status before triggering.



Tabular Reports – Current Value Formatting & Formulas
Formulas previously applied to report data now also apply to the current value field.
  • Supports calculated values such as flow totals derived from:
    • Current total flow
    • Reset count
    • Max value per reset


Editor Toolbar Update
Improved layout and updated icons in the left-hand toolbar to enhance usability and workflow.
