Viewing SimpliLink Hub Statistics and Details

What is the Statistics Page?
The SimpliLink Hub has a detailed statistics page containing trend graphs to help analyze device health as well as a break-down of important Cellular Connection Info and Device Statistics.

To navigate to the statistics page, select the green "Sites" Icon at the top of the page, then choose the "Communication" tab. Finally, locate and select the orange Statistics Icon in the SimpliLink Hub banner.

The "Visual Data" screen contains several graphs and charts to help analyze the history of your SimpliLink Hub. Here you can see trends for CPU Temp, CPU Load, Free Memory, Cell Signal Quality, and Free Disk Space. You will also see pie charts with the current Disk Usage and Memory Usage.

You can adjust the Time Range of your graphs to get a view of the device parameters over a longer or shorter timeline.

The "Detailed View" page contains more in-depth information on Cellular Statistics, Device Statistics, and Network Statistics.

The first section contains "Cellular Statistics". One of the most useful items is the current Cellular Signal Strength. This will help determine if the cell signal is adequate. Typically anything over 50% will provide enough service. If the cell signal is less than desired, a more powerful antenna or better antenna location may be required.

The next section in the Detailed View page is "Device Statistics". This page provides the current values for many physical components of the SimpliLink Hub as well as the Uptime.

The final section contains the "Network Statistics". Under the header "BR0" you can see the current local network settings for the SimpliLink Hub's ethernet port that should be connected to your PLC or network switch.
