Installing the SimpliLink Hub

The SimpliLink LocalHMI Hub ships with the latest firmware already installed. If you purchased the cellular version, the SIM card will also be pre-installed and activated.

If you need to access the SIM card, use a small flat-head screwdriver to depress the card to release it.

For cellular installations, attach the included 4G antenna before powering on the device. If additional signal strength is required, a compatible remote antenna can be used instead.

Device connectivity is accomplished via the 1000M ethernet port. This is the second port from the left.

To power the SimpliLink Hub, connect a 9 - 36 VDC power supply capable of providing at least 24 watts to the Phoenix power connector.

  • VIN — Positive (+) DC input

  • GND — DC ground (-)

Mounting

The SimpliLink LocalHMI Hub can be panel mounted using the 233 x 155 mm M4 recessed threads or wall mounted with an optional VESA 75 x 75 mm compatible mount.
