How to use Actions (using an object on the HMI to perform an action)

Using Actions

Actions provide interactive functionality for objects within the HMI. By assigning an Action to an object, users can navigate between screens, open reports, launch pop-ups, control equipment, and more directly from the Web App or Mobile App.

Only one Action can be assigned to an object at a time.

Adding an Action to an Object

To configure an Action:

  1. Open the Canvas Editor
  2. Select the desired object
  3. Locate the Actions section at the bottom of the Properties Panel
  4. Click the field beside Link
  5. Choose the desired Action from the list
  6. Configure the available settings for that Action

Available Action Types

Clears any currently assigned Action.
