Creating a Pop-up Overview
Pop-ups provide a convenient way to access additional controls and information without adding clutter to the main HMI screen. By linking a Pop-up Action to an object, users can quickly open detailed views while remaining on their current screen.
Common uses for Pop-ups include:
Advanced equipment controls
Set point entry
Alarm summaries and details
Equipment status information
Maintenance screens

Creating a New Pop-up
Open the Canvas Editor.
Select the Pop-up Icon from the left-hand toolbar.
From the Create a Pop-up Overview screen, click Create New.
The Pop-up Overview Canvas Editor will open.
Background Properties
Click anywhere on the canvas to display the Background Properties Panel on the right-hand side.
Fill: Changes the background color of the Pop-up |
Recommended Size: Selects the dimensions of the Pop-up |
Image: Uses an image as the Pop-up background |
Unlock All Fitted Items: Reserved for future functionality |

300 × 300 (1:1) |
400 × 400 (1:1) |
500 × 500 (1:1) |
640 × 480 (4:3) |
800 × 600 (4:3) |

Building Your Pop-up
Add objects from the left-hand toolbar to create the desired layout.
Common objects include:
HOA Controls
ON/OFF Switches
Tables
Text Objects

Configure and link each object to the appropriate tags as needed.
Tip: Hold Shift while selecting multiple objects, then use the Alignment Toolbar to quickly align and organize your layout.
Saving the Pop-up
When your design is complete:
Click Save & Exit in the upper-right corner.
Enter a name for the Pop-up.
Click Save.
Linking a Pop-up to an HMI Object
Once created, the Pop-up must be assigned to an object within the HMI.
Select the desired HMI object.
Scroll to the Actions section of the Properties Panel.
Under Link, choose Pop-up.
Under Select Overview, click Select.

The Select or Create a Pop-up Overview window will appear.
Select the Pop-up you created.
Click Select.
Save & Exit the HMI canvas editor.
Test the configuration by clicking the linked object and verifying that the Pop-up opens correctly.
